Prometheus and MAP also take on the issue of minority ownership of broadcast media, outlining the legal case history that reaffirms that the FCC has the power to adopt rules promoting diversity in ownership. The groups also urge the FCC to examine newly generated evidence that shows that only race conscious measures can achieve the necessary racial diversity in broadcast ownership.
